In the latest Entertainment News Melbourne born Megan Fox is being considered to play a young Lara Croft in a new Tomb Raider movie. Angelina Jolie starred in the first two Tomb Raider movies back in 2001 and 2003, but now they are looking to replace Angelina Jolie who is now 33 years old with a much younger star with the next installment. The Executive producer Dan Lin is planning an “origin” story. It would be a younger Lara Croft; the movie will have character-driven action. Angelina Jolie is supposedly very upset about getting older and is passed over for the lead role in the new Lara Croft-Tomb Raider movie.

Megan Fox says that she does not want to be known as the next Angelina Jolie. She therefore will not accept the role as gun-toting tough girl Lara Croft. Her representative’s are very upset about this. They want her to play this role. Fox hasn’t been offered anything and her shooting schedule may not even allow her time to do this film even if she wanted to.

According to Celebrity News Megan Fox is not happy being compared to Angelina Jolie as most women would be Megan is not one of them. She thinks that just because she has dark hair, tattoos and has been in an action movie like Angelina everyone seems to find a comparison, but that’s as far as it goes according to Megan. She does not want to have anything to do with Angelina at all. She wants to be her own self, and known for her own acting in her own movies.
