In the latest Celebrity News it is sad news to report the death of the blond bombshell of the 70’s Farrah Fawcett. She was an icon for an entire nation, and she was truly loved, and will be missed. She died on Thursday, June 25, 2009 in the morning at age 62. She died at a Santa Monica, California hospital after nearly a three-year battle with anal cancer. Her best friend Alana Stewart will remember her friend as an angel.
Farrah has been suffering with anal cancer for 3 years which is a disease that is very rare, but happens to be on the rise. The only frustrating thing about anal cancer is that it is found in the later stages because the symptoms are hidden so it claims a high percentage of its victims.
Fans all over are mourning the death of Farrah Fawcett. Ryan O’Neal who is Farrah Fawcett’s longtime partner were planning to get married as soon as possible. The couple were unable to exchange vows before Farrah died of cancer. Ryan O’Neal, and Alana Stewart and Farrah’s doctor were in the hospital room when she passed according to Extra Entertainment News.
Redmond O’Neal, the son of Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O’Neal was not at his mother’s bedside in her final days. He has been behind bars in California as his mother succumbed to cancer Thursday. According to Entertainment News Fawcett’s family was expected to ask for Redmond to be released from jail when they thought that Farrah might be dying. So far he is still in jail, and only released one time to appear in his mother’s documentary.
