Absolutely Great News! In Entertainment News Oprah Winfrey is a mom once again. She has a new Blond cocker spaniel named Sadie. Oprah is beaming and totally happy with the new addition to her family. The dog is absolutely beautiful! It has been almost a year since Oprah lost her cocker spaniel Sophie. After Sophie passed away Oprah did a photo shoot with O magazine at PAWS Chicago, a no-kill shelter, and during this shoot is when sweet Sadie and her brothers stole Oprah’s heart. Oprah’s says that the dogs picked her. There were six or seven dogs and Sadie was the one that was on Oprah’s shoulder that was nuzzling at her. Oprah loves having cocker spaniels. She has had a cocker spaniel for 14 years. She did wait until she was ready to get another dog.

Oprah has taken Sadie home, and there are some adjustments that have to be made, but right now Sadie is sleeping in a crate in the bed, and Oprah feels so romantic having the crate right there in the center of the bed with such a loving animal. The next step is the house-training. The main thing is that there are so many kinds of dogs at shelters who need love. There are purebreds, puppies, and even mutts. Oprah says that if you can take care of your dog, it is so heartbreaking to hear when people have to give up their dogs, so if you have room in your home you can consider adopting from a shelter. Dogs and Cats at shelters needs so much love.
