In the latest Entertainment News many months ago two of the main characters of the series “Dexter” Michael C. Hall that plays Dexter, and his tough talking costar sister Debra Morgan on the show played by Jennifer Carpenter, 29, now recently got married on New Year’s Eve. The two started dating last winter while Hall, 37 was waiting to finalize his divorce from his wife who he was married to for four years Amy Spanger who is also an actress.
When the producers did find out that the two were dating they did ask that they keep it a secret. They did not want to distract the viewers. For many months they kept the romance a secret by going to out-of-the-way places where no one would see them. Now everyone knows because they were just married. They were married outdoors in Big Sur, California; Jennifer did carry a bouquet of white roses with her grandfather’s wedding band attached to them. The couple will make their first public appearance together on the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton. The “Dexter” series is up for multiple awards, and it includes Best Actor in a Drama for Michael C. Hall.
Michael C. Hall started his career in theater, and was nominated in 2002 for an Emmy in the Outstanding Lead Actor, for playing a gay mortician in the HBO TV show “Six Feet Under”.
Jennifer Carpenter is known for her performance in “The Exorcism of Emily Rose”, a role which in 2006 she received an MTV movie award for “Best Frightened Performance”.
