In the latest Entertainment News it has been discovered that the nanny, Jeff Kathrein, 29 that John Travolta hired to take care of his disabled son Jett apparently went through a Scientology drug program before his son’s death. It is reported that Jeff Kathrein took a course called a “Drug Rundown” it can cause devastating mental and spiritual damage that can follow in the wake of drug use. If a Scientologist happens to enroll in this Drug Rundown it would mean that this person has to get drugs out of his or her system.
The nanny Kathrein had an adjoining room next to Jett when he was found unconscious in the bathroom of the Travolta family’s Bahamian vacation home. According to Extra Entertainment News a Scientology publication that was tracked down by a source confirms that the nanny’s involvement in this program helps people get away from the harmful effects of drugs, and would also help people escape medicine or alcohol. Celebrity News reports that Jeff Kathrein completed the Drug Rundown program in early 2008.
Jeff and John have known each other for many years. They did meet through Scientology. Jeff always travels with the Travolta family. When Jeff met his wife Ana they both started to travel with the Travolta family. Jeff was never referred to Jett’s nanny until Jett’s death. Jeff was the last person to see Jett alive, and he also helped John with performing CPR on Jett. National databases did many checks on Jeff, and he does not have any professional childcare qualifications whatsoever. Why wasn’t he checked out before he was hired? The Travolta family should have done a total background check on Jeff for his qualifications.
