Marg Helgenberger CSI star just celebrated her 50th birthday, and she gave herself a very special birthday gift, her own home without her husband Alan Rosenberg. She plays Catherine Willows on the CBS hit drama. She just decided to move out of her house that she shared with her longtime husband who is also an actor and SAG President Alan Rosenberg. She told Celebrity News that she wants to start a new life on her own without him. She also mentioned that she has not been happy with Alan for a very long time, and when she turned 50 she finally told her husband that she wanted out of the marriage, and wanted the second half of her life alone without him in the picture.

The couple has been married since 1989. They met in 1984 while they both acted on daytime soap opera Ryan’s Hope. Rosenberg is currently at the fractious forefront of collapsed mediation talks between the major studios and the Screen Actors Guild. So he did not need to hear bad news that his wife is leaving him.
They have one 18 year old son together. They do not want to traumatize their son with their split. They will work together to make a good decision on how they would split the visitation rights. They are both great parents, and just came to realize that their lives together are no longer working.” So they felt that the best thing to do would be to start over on their own.
