The Dog Chapman celebrity scandal continues to get worse for A&E's favorite bounty hunter as civil rights leaders attempt to have his show cancelled. Multiple African American civil rights leaders including Earl Ofari Hutchison who is the President of the Los Angeles Urban Policy Roundtable have stated that A&E must stop showing Dog the Bounty Hunter on their station and completely can the series. As you can see these are extreme statements. A&E has not said anything in response. The civil rights leaders have also claimed that if no action is taken by A&E that there will be a large public response that will end up hurting the image of the station.
What we have on our hands here is all the ingredients for a complete celebrity meltdown from our favorite Hawaiian bounty hunter. It seems that his unheard apology was not enough to win back the African American community. This was expected after he started saying things on Larry King like he considered himself black. Entertainment news will continue to follow the fate of Dog Chapman.
